Amber Heard’s relationship with Vito Schnabel and real reason they split

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp ’s tumultuous relationship has been pushed into the limelight recently as the pair’s tense libel trial continues in the US.

But as the court hears details about Depp and Amber’s time together, people have also been interested to know more about Amber’s love life after her divorce from Johnny in 2016.

Amber’s relationships after her split from Johnny Depp have featured several famous faces – including supermodel Cara Delevigne and billionaire business mogul Elon Musk.

But the Aquaman actress has also dated some lesser-known names, including Vito Schnabel.

Who is Vito Schnabel?

Vito Schnabel is an art dealer and the founder of Vito Schnabel Gallery, which has locations in New York, Santa Monica, Switzerland and St Moritz.

He’s also the son of famous American painter and filmmaker Julian Schnabel.

Before dating Amber, Vito previously dated German supermodel Heidi Klum, but the pair split in 2017 after three years together.

Vito has also done some acting, and in 2000 he actually starred alongside Amber’s ex-husband Johnny Depp in Before Night Falls, a drama written and directed by his dad, Julian.

As well as acting, he has followed in his father’s filmmaking footsteps and has written the comedy The Trainer, which is due to be released in 2023.

When did Amber Heard date Vito Schnabel?

After her divorce from Johnny Depp, Amber dated billionaire Elon Musk on and off throughout 2016 and 2017, but just three months after they split for good, Amber was rumoured to be dating Vito Schnabel.

Rumours of their relationship first began circulating when Amber was spotted having breakfast with Vito at the Italian restaurant Sant Ambroeus in New York.

In July 2018 they made their relationship public, attending the Wimbledon Championships in London together.

Vito and Amber dated for less than a year before they broke it off.

A source told Us Weekly at the time that the pair split “because of long-distance”.

Rumours of their split started in March 2019, when Vito was spotted cosying up to model Denise Schaefer in New York.

It seems that they both moved on quickly and during the same month Amber was reported to be dating Argentinian film director Andrés Muschietti.
