“I’m five-foot-four and a half. I could never be a model,” she said of her petite height in a 2001 interview with San Fransisco Examiner.

“I had friends who were models who were trying to get me into it and it just wasn’t going to work. But I did commercials. I sold Tampax and washing detergent. I did go to Japan on a modeling contract, which is the first time I really tried modeling for print. I was told that they really liked blonde little things, and I was offered a lot of money. So I went. But I didn’t enjoy it at all.”

Despite her relatively petite height, Naomi only wears high heels when absolutely necessary. “I do enjoy the red carpet for the reason that you get to express yourself. But, ordinarily, I would never put on high heels unless I absolutely had to,” she told NewBeauty in 2016. She wears a shoe size 7 (US).

“Personally, I feel for me it’s tough to do Botox — but it’s also tough not to! Sometimes, I think I need the help. Whatever anyone else chooses is fine with me, no judgment,” she said about plastic surgery and Botox.

“Of course, I want to look the best I can, but I am playing characters that should match my age and the women and the material that I am interested in are usually going through something. I have to be able to live in my face and tell the story of the character I’ve taken on. But…I’ll never say never.”

“Coming to terms with aging as gracefully as possible is the best thing anyone can do, no matter who you are, but everyone has their good days and bad days,” the 21 Grams actress added.

“I feel so much better as a person now than I did in my 20s, but most of the time I feel like I’m still a kid. There are days you feel like you are on top of it and you are OK and at peace with it; then there are the days you still feel 28 inside — until you catch that reflection or see a photograph and realize you aren’t anymore.”
