Gorgeous Photos of a Young Susan Lucci We’d Nearly Forgotten About

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Susan Lucci is positively ageless. Best known for playing the dramatic role of Erica Kane on All My Children, Lucci is a soap icon — so much so, she’s been dubbed “Daytime’s Leading Lady” by TV Guide, with both The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times citing her as one of the highest-paid actresses on daytime television. Decade after decade, she’s won the hearts of viewers and fans with her stunning looks, affable charm, and energetic personality — and this remains true today.

Although Lucci is known and loved by soap fans as the unforgettable Erica Kane, she’s appeared in quite a few television shows and films throughout the years, including a cameo in Young Doctors in Love and a special guest-star appearance in both The Love Boat and Hot in Cleveland, for which she appeared in six separate episodes.

What is Susan Lucci doing now? She’s living her life to the fullest! In April 2018, her brand-new line of activewear launched on QVC. Lucci has also been traveling around the globe to promote her life-to-date memoir All My Life: A Memoir By Susan Lucci ($15, Amazon). Even though we’re over the moon about Lucci’s recent accomplishments, we can’t help but think back to the good old days when she lit up our TV screens every day with loads of glamour, beauty, and plenty of satisfying drama. After all of those years, she radiates charm and poise. A glamorous leading lady, indeed! Scroll through to see some of our all-time favorite photos of Susan Lucci. They’re oldies but goodies, trust us!

Here Lucci is sitting with her All My Children co-star, Richard Shoberg. Who could forget these two lovebirds? Shoberg played Tom Cudahy, also known as Erica Kane’s former football hero hubby, whom she married on the rebound from her failed affair with Nick Davis (Laurence Keith). Lucci was only in her early 30s here, but her brilliant smile and fresh-faced skin make her look even younger.

Look at that pouty face! It’s too bad Kane’s modeling career fell apart when she was charged with the murder of her fiance, Kent Bogart (Lee Godart). Bogart mysteriously died after Kane confronted him at gunpoint over his sneaky affair with Connie Wilkes. In the end, Kane’s charges were cleared.

Lucci and the late Tony Curtis acted together in the made-for-tv mob drama Mafia Princess. She played the boss’ (Sam Giancana’s) daughter Antoinette in the 1986 classic. With her dark hair and eyes, she was an ideal choice to play the Italian mobster’s daughter.

Lucci is such a beautiful bride! Her character Erica Kane married Tom Cudahy shortly after her affair with Nick Davis went up in flames. Can you believe Kane married six different men — one of whom she married twice? At least Lucci looks gorgeous in white!

Lucci is known for her big hair, but this look is by far one of our favorites. Only someone as bold and confident as Erica Kane could pull off this daring headpiece. She looks just ravishing standing next to Palmer Cortlandt (James Mitchell)!
