Molly Sims, born on May 25, 1973, was raised in Murray, Kentucky, in the old J.U. Kevil House on Chappell Court.

Molly Sims has a diverse heritage, with her father, Jim Sims, being English and Cherokee, and her mother, Dottie Sims, being German. She also has an older brother, Todd Sims.

Her father was required to continue working at a book company. Thus, the family later relocated to Mayfield, Kentucky.

Molly Sims completed her high school education in 1991 at Murray. Later, she was permitted to enroll at Vanderbilt University to major in political science.

However, she decided to leave school at 19 in 1993 and embarked on a career in modeling instead.

After her images were chosen, Molly Sims inked a deal with Next Models Management in New York City.

Molly appeared on the cover of Vogue Spain’s April edition in 1997. After two years, she also graced the front of Vogue Paris’ September edition.

Old Navy appointed her as an official spokesmodel in 2001, and she starred in ads with the slogan “You gotta get this look!”

The model debuted on Victoria’s Secret runway in 2001, and the following year, she signed a tremendous partnership with CoverGirl.
